A newly renovated farmhouse lies on the coast of Denmark with a beautiful view and unfortunately a high risk of flood. To enjoy its beautiful views, the owners have built a large patio around the home.

 

Patio’s don’t pose a problem for a FloodFrame. The system is simply built around the patio. The owner can then choose to opt for temporary walls, provided by FloodFrame to be deployed prior to a flood, or a permanent fence/railing to be installed around the patio, as seen in this example. FloodFrame needs a “wall” to roll up against to protect the home during a flood. There are many unique ways this can be accomplished.
